Dartry Sod Turning

Great Day for Cootehill Area on Friday when the Sod Turning was performed by Minister Heather Humphreys at Dartry Forest Amenity Project linking Cootehill with Rockorry with upgrade to parking ,Interactive Signage , Forest entrance, improvements to various trails under the Outdoor Recreation Scheme . Coillte, Monaghan County Council and Cootehill Area Development Ltd are all Stakeholders in the ambitious plan which also includes upgrades on Black Island full of Local Archaeological Monuments in an area of Rich Heritage along the Dromore Water System .
