Clayotic! Create a self-portrait with air-drying modelling clay for 9-12 yr olds

The theme of the workshops is My beautiful self – a 3D self-portrait. Children will initially learn all the basic shapes needed for Clay modelling, followed by basic colour theory and colour mixing skills.

The facilitator will guide each child with step by step instructions to make an accomplished, unique 3-dimensional piece.  The children will partake in a basic life drawing tutorial to highlight proportions and understand correct placements of features. The children will also learn about proportions, spatial awareness during this fun filled workshop. At the end of the workshop, each child will have made a 3d self-portrait to take away and celebrate Cruinniú na nÓg 2022.
