COOTEHILL TOWN TEAM includes sub groups:

COOTEHILL TIDY TOWNS

• Currently involved in developing Community Garden
• Tidy Towns Competition
• The Tidy Towns are currently engaging with other agencies in the town on projects for the good of the town.

SCC Group (Social, Community, Cultural)

• currently involved in consultation in the community with regard to what is needed to improve life for all in our town with a view to having vital services and supports available locally, and also in the provision of a community building in Market Street in 2022.

ECONOMIC GROUP

• Currently endeavouring to bring Hot Desk Hub to Cootehill
• Involved in making the old Graveyard accessible to those who wish to visit it, and having all the graves in it recorded and put online.
• New town heritage map now available

ACCESSIBILITY GROUP

• the aim of this group is to promote social inclusion, create and promote accessible environments and strive to be the most accessible town in Co Cavan

Cootehill TOWN TEAM

• Recent facade painting, hanging baskets, the Christmas tree, and upcoming community building on Market Street are just a few of the projects that Cootehill Town Team are involved in.
