‘Why move to Cootehill’ & ‘meet your employer’ showcase day

What is this event about?
It is an event to attract more workers to come live and work in Cootehill either as remote workers using our excellent digital and community hubs or take one of the many open job offerings with one of the many innovative and large scale employers we have here.
When/Where/What?
Drop in to the Cootehill Digital Hub Friday 12th between 10-4 on Friday to have a chat with us and see the remote working facilities.
JOIN between 12-1pm for or lineup of speakers:
-young entrepreneurs and podcasters Dropoutdiaries,
-Cavan LEO, about available supports for start-ups and existing businesses and
-[Cllr] Aiden Fitzpatrick on behalf of Cootehill Town Team’s economic subgroup talking about the hub options in town.
-Local large employers Abcon, PQE, Abbotts, Carleton Cakes, The Errigal Hotel, SuperValu, Colm Smith Dental will each be spaying a few words about what’s so good about working in Cootehill, what’s unique to their workplaces and what jobs they have on offer.
-Cootehill Chamber and Cootehill.ie will talk about what the town has to offer on a broader sense to families and individuals looking to settle here.
Refreshments by the Errigal Hotel.
Who’s behind the event?
This showcase day is a collaboration between Cootehill.ie, Cootehill Chamber of Commerce & Cootehill Digital Hub as part of ‘Showcase Day’ created by Connected Hubs and Digital Ireland – a national campaign by the government promoting Remote Work.
