Amounts from €10-€2000 accepted.

100% of your donation (bar transaction fee) goes directly to this project.

The project involves the refurbishment and extension of the iconic St Michael’s Hall and site, located in the town centre of Cootehill. The redeveloped building will be transformed to provide a multifunctional community space, including an upgraded and refurbished event/arts theatre space.

The works will consist of the upgrading of the existing original hall (a protected structure), appropriate demolition of existing side and rear extensions, construction of a new side and rear extension to provide a new entrance lobby, reception area and office, community meeting rooms (8no), toilet and changing facilities, kitchen, storage rooms and a large hall to the rear which can be
subdivided to provide for a multiplicity of uses as demand requires.

Once complete the project will deliver a focal point for the community and act as a catalyst for the regeneration of this area of Cootehill town centre, as well as providing a critical community space to assist with the revitalisation of the town centre.
Further, as an existing protected structure, this project safeguards the conservation of the original parish hall as well as sustainably repurposing the hall as an event space.
