Active Travel Connectivity

Great to see the regeneration of local Villages in Monaghan including connectivity plans with Cootehill Clones and Monaghan as well as the great possibilities linking County Cavan in this small Border and Midlands Region. Construction of the Dromore Greenway Walking & Cycling project is ongoing and hopes that our Active Travel projects and Greenways will extend further towards Cavan Town also embracing the Vilages of Tullyvin , Rathkenny, Drung and Bunnoe on Route. It is also hoped that the long awaited re Allingement of Road badly needed at Ashfield / Claragh Junction as well as Rathkenny may also be included including stop off scenic areas around Corrick Bridge.
