Dartrey Estate Project Receives Part 8 Planning

Dartrey Forest ECO- Tourism Project which includes a transformative new Development linking Rockorry and it’s heritage along the way to Cootehill Town has this week received it’s part 8 planning from Monaghan Co. Council . The majority of the forest is owned by Coillte as well as Cootehill Area Development Ltd who have worked closely with Monaghan Co. Co. Tourism Department , elected representatives including Minister Heather Humphreys to bring these great plans to fruition over recent months. This will help open up this unique scenic and very historic forest park over the coming years for generations to come for young and old and put this area on the map as a unique tourism destination to complement the existing product at Halton’s Amenity Park and Fairy Forest.
